- June 10-11, 2024 at Concordia's 4th Space
- Register your attendance
The role played by plurilingualism in educational research is a central concern in all regions of Quebec, as well as in Canada and internationally. On June 10 and 11, research and education stakeholders will gather to share their knowledge and experience, discuss best practices, and develop innovative strategies to promote plurilingualism in schools, universities and other educational institutions.
Through a series of presentations and workshops reporting on initiatives and work carried out in Africa, Europe, Quebec and Canada, this event will provide an opportunity to discuss and reflect on welcoming and integrating students from immigrant backgrounds into schools, the place of linguistic diversity in various educational contexts, mobilizing plurilingual and pluricultural repertoires in the classroom, and training teachers in inclusive, plural and anti-oppressive approaches.
