Applying for readmission after failed standing

If you feel prepared to continue your studies in the upcoming academic year, you may apply for readmission. The deadline to apply for 2024-25 is June 17, 2024.

The Learning and Study Skills Inventory (LASSI) helps you and the university evaluate what kind of support and conditions you need to be successful in pursuing your academic goals. The inventory provides a basis for improving all learning and study strategies and helps identify areas where you could most benefit from support.

To access LASSI, use the school number, username and password associated with your faculty. It should take approximately 20 minutes to answer 64 multiple choice questions. Along with the results, you will receive a guide to interpreting them. Your faculty will receive your results also.

Answer a series of questions online, then submit a copy via your Student Centre.

Be prepared to reflect on your experience. Take the time to answer the questions thoughtfully and in your own words.

When you have reached the end of the questions, download a PDF copy. Upload the PDF to your Student Centre. Click Upload Documents on the right side of your screen. For document type, choose [your faculty: Arts & Science, Fine Arts, ENCS (GCS), JMSB, or Independent] – Readmission Application.

Once you've submitted your application for readmission, you should receive a response from your faculty within six weeks.
