Welcome to innovation

The Gina Cody School Makerspace is a vibrant, new hub of innovation and creativity located in the Hall building on the 10th floor. This workshop is open to all students of the Gina Cody School, whether you're working on a class project or bringing a student society idea to life.

Explore our high-tech facilities

From beginners to experienced makers, our facility is designed to cater to your needs. That’s because our Makerspace boasts over $1 million in new equipment, and offers a range of tools and resources that include:

  • 3D Printing: From basic models to advanced designs, bring your 3D creations to life.
  • Woodworking: Dive into manual or computer-controlled fabrication.
  • Metalworking: Shape and mold your ideas with both manual and computer-aided tools.
  • Electronics: Access essential equipment like power meters, oscilloscopes, wave generators, and multimeters.

Bring your materials; leave with masterpieces

Please bring your own materials for machining projects. We will provide a range of free basic materials for 3D printing.

The Gina Cody School Makerspace workshop is located in the Hall Building in three separate locations:

  • H.1021 – Woodworking & 3D Printing
  • H.1025 – Machining & Electronics
  • H.1020 – Advanced 3D Printing
